My Elgu arrived (purple)...when can I put my chicken in?

Do I do it at night? During the day?

Should I wait until I have bought an extra 2 chickens to go in with her?

Put it/them in at night, then they'll wake up there and know it's home.
But if you're getting more may be easier to put them all in together- will the other two be friends?

I am driving to Papworth tomorrow to visit - so I am looking for a chicken farm somewhere between Norwich & Cambridge

I think it would be easier to put the new ones plus the old one in a new place in one go iyswim, then none of them feel it's 'their' territory. Get the new ones, then put them all in the new place at night.
Can't advise re sourcing in EA I'm afraid.
