Hi, I saw this on the many tears rescue site (google it)
Little Hen Rescue are trying to rehome 10,000 hens in less than 2 months. The hens are coming from a farm that is closing down. The farmer has the slaughter man booked for the 29th June. Any hens not rescued will go to slaughter with no second chances.
Little Hen Rescue needs co-ordinators, volunteers, poster putter-uppers and, of course, homes. Maybe you could help with admin, raise awareness in your area or spend time answering queries from potential re-homers. They rehome to different areas and need co-ordinators in Northants, Peterborough, Surrey, Kent and surrounding areas.
