double yolkers

I got 3 POL chickens about 5 weeks ago. In the last 5 days I've had 3 eggs - all off one chicken I think... and all the eggs have been double yolkers.

Questions:
Is it a problem that they're double yolkers?
Is there anything I can do to encourage the other two to start laying?

I think it just means things have been slow coming down the ol' tubes.
sometimes they take AGES to come into lay, I don't think there's anything you can do apar from make sure they get as much daylight as possible.

many chickens lay double yolkers when they come into lay eithjer for the first time or after a period of them not laying

We had a chicken who went through a period of producing double yolkers, she has stopped again now which I am actually a bit about as I only used one egg as appose to 2 in the morning for my breakfast! Don't think there is any problem with it.

Thanks - guess it's because she's new to egg making! The egg we got today seems a bit smaller so maybe it's a single...
