Should I bring my chicken in when it's very snowy/cold/muddy under foot?

It's so cold and very snowy/icy/muddy underfoot...I'm getting a bit precious about my chooks...should I bring them in of an evening or are they alright? SHould I wash any mud off their feet - the prospect of administering a chicken foot bath is both funny and daunting!!

One of mine (who is pretty old) looks a bit poorly today - she does seem to be limping but also seems a bit wilted generally...starting to worry

Do they have somewhere outside to shelter, mine seem to be spending all day under their shelter or their house. I've put down some straw in their run to reduce the mud and extra woodshavings in the house for warmth. I've also been giving them some sweetcorn late in the afternoon which is supposed to be warming for them. Might be worth cleaning your chooks foot if shes limping then you can see if there is something wrong.
