Anyone in north yorkshire want a young cockerel ?

We have two young cockerels from some of this summers chicks who desperately need good homes (due to noise abatement order !) , one is black with lovely blue tinged tail feathers and the other is red . These are free to good homes ,but are not for the casserole pot ! You can cat me if interested and we would be happy to deliver

You may have trouble re-homing them as people don't really want cockerels. Why not for the pot? We had 2 extra cockerels this year and they were lovely and tasty. Much better than the most expensive, free-range, organic chicken.

Agree callisto, if any of ours turn out to be cocks (think we have got at least 2) they are for the pot!

well i think that may be what eventually happens ,although my friend who actually owns them really doesnt want that to happen
