Layers mash, do I add water to it?

Just ordered a big sack of layers mash for my new chickens, just wondering if I add water to make a mash or feed it dry?

You can do both. On cold winter mornings I mix it with boiling water, let it it and serve them a hot breakfast, like chook porridge

let it sit, not it.

We give our chickens real porridge in the winter. They get fed better than me!!!
