Amazing. I once cracked open a carton of eggs and 6/6 were double yolkers.

NappiesGalore · 15/09/2008 22:38

impressive stuff

my thickastwoshortplanks clever hens have given me many a double yolker, but never a triple.

vjg13 · 16/09/2008 19:56

Wow very impressive.
Will go and give my two a talking to!

marmadukescarlet · 17/09/2008 22:54

Out of interest, did you weigh it?

My DD weighs all our eggs, until today 72g was our largest (single yolk) but todays was 78g - diff chook to the usual 70-72 layer.

thescurvysockmonsterofdoom · 20/09/2008 09:35

102g poor old chook. it had a ridge round the middle where she obviously stopped half way through for a breather.

Bumperlicious · 20/09/2008 09:45

OMG, I just realised I had a dream abut a triple yoke egg...bizarre, what does that mean do you think?

thescurvysockmonsterofdoom · 20/09/2008 09:47

maybe you are really hungry.

marmadukescarlet · 20/09/2008 09:59

102g poor old chook!
