Oh that's brilliant - very exciting. I had one hatch on day 20, loads on day 21 and then three on day 22. Fluffy chicks in the morning I reckon.

Beauregard · 22/07/2008 22:43

aw how exciting

WeeBesom · 22/07/2008 22:43

Oh how exciting!! Please post some pics

NutterlyUts · 22/07/2008 22:57

Will do. As soon as one starts appearing i will try to get pics and if not, will get em the moment they move into the brooder when hatched

Then the fun and games of Id'ing breeds can begin

How many are you incubating?

NutterlyUts · 23/07/2008 22:04

Glad it's going well. The yellow ones can change colour dramatically when they get feathers, so you'll have to wait and see!

All my yellow chicks this year have ended up a pale reddish brown.

NutterlyUts · 24/07/2008 07:13

The non silkies in the incubator are light sussex, white and black marans and light sussex x rir so the yellow chick is one of those (unless I got ebay specials and then who knows!)

How many have hatched now?[nosey/excited emoticon]

NutterlyUts · 24/07/2008 12:26

I now have 5. 4 silkies and the yellow one. I think i have a white, a black and two partridge silkies but I'm not 100% on the non black one! Also have another silkie in the process of pipping. Will grab more pics tonight
