Indoor chicken anything that can be done for poor feather condition

Hi, we have a very much loved indoor chicken. She came inside over a year ago to die - she didn’t! She was being horribly bullied and pecked outside - her feathers have never recovered. She now resembles something oven ready though she is very content and happy in herself.
She adores family life and fits right in with her family including dog and cats. She actively seeks human company - we adore her.
we would love to improve her condition - she was a stunning hen. Her crop is often very full and we massage that to help breakdown the food.
any suggestions?

The vet sold us some vitamin drops for feathers when we had a hen going through an exceptionally bad moult. I can’t remember what they were called but they might help.

What are you currently feeding her? I would probably try growers rather than layers with mealworm treats. She needs protein.

I know nothing about chickens, but I love your post and I hope your chicken continues to have a happy end-of-life! 🐓

Protein, try live foods in pets at home or similar that are marketed for reptiles or some worms for fishing if u don't have somewhere good to dig for any. Electrolyte bathing has been recommended a lot for a multitude of issues on the poultry group I'm in. Also make sure she gets access to a dust bath, coarse sand and dry compost mix etc this is how they naturally bathe and moult. May seem counterproductive but if she's gonna survive and is healthy maybe a good exfoliate would do the whole "make her look worse before she has a glow up" thing 🤷 I'm so curious how an indoor chicken works, we have a literal barn of animals and my duck REALLY wants to be back inside where he was as a floofy baby but I just can't imagine changing his nappy 😩😂

I have nothing helpful to suggest but would love to see a picture of the little guy!

First picture was before the bullying started - she is pretty bald now and whilst in great form, she literally rules the roost, she doesn’t look her best.
She very much lives life on her terms. Mornings spent harassing humans for toast - she can smell toast cooking and makes a beeline for the kitchen. Day is spent annoying the dog and trying to cuddle as close to her as possible. Evenings spent on the sofa with her humans watching TV - she cuddles in tight to her chosen human for that evening. She will walk through to the sitting room at dusk and hop onto the sofa. She sleeps on the sofa with the dog.
no nappies - apparently they can cause fungal infections so we go through a lot of wipes.
she in incredibly intelligent. Recognises voices and finds Alexa drop ins very confusing. When my daughter is away and calls we put her on speaker - chicken almost screams in excitement at hearing her voice - she is the favourite human.
