What sort of housing/run do you have for your chickens? I'm particularly interested in arks and where you got them from! Thanks! Mine is a homemade one, you can see it on my blog, here

Sorry TS - lots of lovely pics of the girls and a basket of eggs but can't seem to find one of your run?

We've got an Eglu Cube & run but DH has got all interested all of a sudden and seems to be plotting something more permanent and luxury ladened for our three hens!

I like the extra bit at the end - for a bit of extra shelter. Think I'll show your pics to DH. Would love to know what he's got in mind for ours!

The Dell from Smiths Sectional is a good-sized ark and not a bad price (I want the 'Thicket' to keep quails in). I think the 'upstairs' of the Forsham Arks often look like a bit of a squeeze for larger hens.

I'm just off to build a new run to attach to the broody coop as my clever Silver Sussex has hatched 3 chicks overnight (and there are another 5 eggs under her)!
