what do you all think of this?
A few weeks ago I was driving along a v quiet road and noticed a load of chickens by the side of the road. Odd I thought as there were no houses etc nearby. Yesterday i went past again, again a load of chickens. As I was early for where I needed to be I stopped and realised it was next to a very quiet picnic site, near an estuary with a wood. I parked the car and looked...and they were all cockerels! Some quite splendid ones too. I would guess abut 10-12. Then a guy turned upto walk his dog and I asked him about them. He told me people dump them there. He was very disapproving. I said perhaps the alternative was eating them. Apparantly some old chap comes and feeds them every few days. I Must say they looked perfectly happy.
So, an OK way to dispose of cockerels, or not?

Well I don't know about cockerels but someone dumped an Aylesbury duck at our place....

What did you do with it?

Fed it wheat and called it Bob.

PMSL at GO - sound like one of those old fashioned sayings "Well feed me wheat and call me Bob".

How weird MLE. I guess as londg as they are all cockerals they won't breed and no ladies means they don't fight I guess.

Surely the fox will get them eventually.

Overuse of the phrase "I guess" in my last post
