first eggs!!! hurrahhh

the first eggs have arrived! we had a small one yesterday and 2 this morning; one small and one normal sized.

hooray! seems like we've had em ages and theyre only just starting to lay.

Congratulations! How are you going to eat them?

weve eaten em! boiled. all stood round having a dip each of the teeny one first morning

have found another smallish one. it is residing in the fridge till tomorrow.

When all 6 are laying you'll have more eggs than you know what to do with!

I have an arrangement with several friends that if they give me all their empty egg-boxes, then they'll regularly get one back full of our beautiful eggs.

I agree with DofNB - we have 4, and more eggs than we know what to do with - I have sent the kids door to door round the street, with eggs in a big basket, just to give them away!
