Been at hospital with DS4 for surgery. Came home tonoght to a little yellow chick!!

Hatch day is officially tomorrow. Will leave him/her be as she is drying and wait and see if there are more in morning.

So tired after night on childrens ward so off to bed.

Is DS4 OK? Hope you both have a good nights sleep. Any sort of hospital stay is draining. Nice welcome home though.

Two more on the way. There is a lot of cheeping going on. First one now sitting under heat lamp in brooder. Very, very cute.

DS4 had a good night. He is being very good. Every now and again he gets bladder spasms but we are coping.

Some sleep but will take it easy today and watch chicks hatch. Will do some photos later

5 cheeping cracking eggs - this is SO exciting, but so slow!

Nice to be on the other side of a birth for a change but boy am I inpatient.
