Because...there are lots of us lovely chicken keepers on MN, and we didn't have anywhere to post, and it was really confusing as chickens went into 3 different topics, and chickens are cool!

There are lots of Dragons on Mumsnet too but there isn't a Dragons topic.

Not if you eat them UQD. And quite a lot of us do. It's more for smallholders.

Well, mine aren't. Yes they are loved and cared for but ultimately they are food and food producers.
