...these ones had a death wish..on my profile that is

i was loading the trailer and they seemed to think they had to get underneath all the baranches

had to boot them out but they still kept coming back not the most genious of animals

had to play this in the end to put them in a hypnotic trance

zippi - are they rescue hens? They look like mine. Our new lot are bonkers, follow me everywhere, all sit in the wheel barrow when I'm cleaning out their shed. I nearly impeld several last week when digging my veg patch as they went in after the worms.

zippitippitoes · 31/03/2008 14:01

they are my adoptees

they belong to my emlpoyers

and yes they want me to kill them

i am gardening and they wont leave me alone however many dangerous tools i jab at them

i was trying to fill that trailer and jumping on the branches and they kept going underneath the dopes

Mine also gather really tightly around my feet when they see me approaching with the feed bucket making it impossible to walk.

Yep, bonkers.

mine not here yet. is the longest wait for anything ever. its as bad as pregnancy ffs...

MehgaLegs · 31/03/2008 14:12

What are you getting nappiesgalore?

nappiesgalore · 31/03/2008 15:13

3 gingernut rangers and 3 miss pepperpots. theyre the bog standard ones (only ones) from the eglu people and coming with the cube.

i got all excited about dorset rare breeds and getting all sorts of different ones... but then noticed the wait is even longer for them! so i'll order some to make up to 10, but still keep the 6 ive got coming next week. i may lose some to mr fox anyway - only time will tell!

MehgaLegs · 31/03/2008 15:51

Oh lovely - sounds exciting. It can become addictive. (sounds like you have alrweady been bitten by the chicken bug though )

LilyMunster · 31/03/2008 15:53

yes! am def bitten. is v frustrating waiting forever - am going to go off the idea before they even get here!

aefondkiss · 01/04/2008 10:47

yup to bonkers hens, I shake my head in despair sometimes.

Nappies I remember the wait for ours it felt like forever!

tortoiseSHELL · 01/04/2008 14:52

Ours are definitely nuts. One of them was hilarious - she took it into her head to chase ds1 all round the garden, chickens running are the FUNNIEST thing!!!
