Wondering if anyone can help me I’m so fed up. So 2 weeks ago I got a gum infection around my wisdom teeth, 2 days into that I woke up with sore throat & tonsil on one side. The gum infection got better but still had the sore throat, Called doctors they prescribed 5 days abx which cleared it. On day 7 it came back again so I rang doctors & they prescribed a further 5 days. Day 5 & it’s not budged, I’ve been dentist & he doesn’t see how the 2 are related but he’s prescribed abx for a gum infection & referred me to have the wisdoms removed. I just don’t know what’s going on with my throat I’m so fed up, it hurts to swallow. Anyone had anything similar that could help.
