Any online tack shop should stock it, try Robinsons

Try the Domestic Fowl Trust in Honeybourne, Worcestershire, they supply by post as well.

What's purple spray?

tortoiseSHELL · 20/03/2008 14:35

You could also get one of those rings to go on the bully's beak to stop her pecking.

tortoiseSHELL · 20/03/2008 14:35

Purple Spray supposedly stops the hens pecking that area, so if a chicken has a badly pecked area, you can spray it on to discourage further pecking.

Anti-pecking spray
Anti-pecking bit

Thanks - there's sooooo much I don't know about chickens!

Thanks everyone.
The Domestic Fowl trust looks a good website.

purple spray worked for us, plus isolating t he affected hen for a few days. she still gets picked on, but nti peck spray seems to stop it being too viscious, you can get that from pet shops. But watch out, it STAINS!
