So today I was sitting out in the sunshine when I seen a bird on my decking beside me. It was trying to get into my rabbits hutch, I went to have a look and it came up to me, it was a baby magpie and it ran past me and jumped into my kitchen! It was loose hopping around my house! It came to us and jumped onto my hand so I took it back outside and put it on the grass. I have a fairly large back garden. It went right to the back of the garden and had managed to get on the outside of my childrens trampoline and it’s just running around and around. It’s parents appear to be coming down and feeding it, it’s small and can’t fly, perhaps a fledgling, what do I do? Keep my kids in until it’s flew off? Would the parents attack my kids if they went out to play? How long will it take to fly away?
