Miserable (cold?) chicken

It’s been very wet here over the last few weeks and I think in general the chicks have been a bit miserable, I’ve also had a case of acute sour crop (chick made it though). Another chicken, who’s always been a bit skinny has been looking quite miserable. Eating, but not lots and not much drinking. The biggest sign though is that she sits hunched and looks like a football with tail down head drawn in. She’s had a hard molt this winter. I brought her in a few days ago and straight away seemed fine, put her back out again next day. Started to look miserable again, and didn’t really want to come out this morning and doesn’t feel warm under her wings. I’ve brought her back in again, and the difference in her is almost immediate. Research suggests not but could it be possible she is just feeling the cold?

Well I take my hens to the vet if they look like this. Huddled and fluffed up suggests illness.
However, can you make your run warmer ? Eg make sure it isn’t too wet or windy etc?
Otherwise maybe bring her in at night when it is really cold. I do that with mine in very hard weather. Or bring her in and feed her up a bit, making sure she has plenty of corn at bedtime to keep her temperature up.
