We have the eglu go with 2 extra extensions for our 3 hens, which was fine when they could roam the garden for most of the day. Now they are shut in it’s looking very small, could anyone recommend a decent size run to purchase?

How much space do you have? We have a walk-in run 3x4m. It was expensive but has lasted us years (still going!) and it's nice to know if they have to stay in they have room to roam. Prices have gone up considerably since we bought ours! gardenlifedirect.co.uk/

I have a wir which dh husband built, also an eglu with an extended run.

We built our own from timber and chain link, with a polycarbonate roof (some of ours are silkies, which aren't properly rainproof). It's 15m x 5m.

It was from Garden Life Direct, they also sell through Mano Mano. It’s good, but it was a bugger to put together.

It was the 4m x 4m one, half inch mesh.

Sorry wrong thread! But it was a run!

I bought aviary panels from eBay including one with a door. This way you can walk in the run.

We have the omlet walk on run, 3x4m for 5 chickens. Love that it's full height as we can walk in to clean and top stuff up. Also has a barn door so lower chance of escape!!

We have a 3.5m square coop made from the Harris security enclosure panels along with a roof made of the same stuff for our 3 chickens. It's very sturdy! We also put paving slabs all around the edges to help keep Mr Fox away.

I meant to say, one side is adapted with a full size door.
