Composting chicken manure

Has anyone got any advice on this? I have started a compost box which I was planning to put the manure in and kitchen/ garden waste. I’m wondering how successful this is going to be, whether I’d be better off getting a composter that I can turn, also whether I should anything else to it?

I chuck the bedding etc in the compost box with all the garden stuff, and about once a year swap to a different box to let it rot down properly before using as mulch. I normally turn the compost as well.

I also have a wormery for the kitchen waste which yields useful “tea” and rich fertiliser. Some kitchen waste can attract vermin but this seems to work pretty well.

Thanks

Will this work with just bedding and grass cuttings?
Will it smell? I have a composting bin from the council
And how long does it take?

Ours will be mainly bedding and grass cuttings too so also interested to know this.
