I suddenly have 2 chickens, advice please!

I've gained 2 small chickens . They came with a little house and I'm cobbling a run together assuming I can't just let them roam the garden?

Any advice please for someone just starting out. I have feeders, water things etc. Grit, corn, pellets. What else do I need or need to know? How often do I clean their house? What with? Is there anything else they need/shouldn't have?

You can let them roam but.. (a) they will trash your garden, (b) if you have foxes about they might get them.
Basically they need shelter from strong weather, food, water, and somewhere secure to be at night!
Cleaning their house - depends how big it is (small house gets dirty faster). I do mine about once every 10 days but I looked after a friends chickens, (3 in a huge shed), and they left it several weeks.
