Is our chicken area big enough?

Hello our chickens had been free range (coming into their coop at night) in our big garden but they absolutely destroyed all our grass and plants 😂
We have built them an outdoor run which is approx 12m squared for the two of them. Is this big enough? Our neighbour said he felt
Sorry for them after they’d had the luxury of our whole garden so I feel a bit guilty

The advice is 2 squaremetres per hen if they don't free range.

Luxurious life compared to many. I can't free range mine due to foxes regularly visiting.

That’s plenty just make sure they have things in there so they can continue their natural behaviour.
