I collected our new ducklings today.
They settled very well and have loved paddling in the washing up bowl of water they have.
At dusk we went to herd them into the house attached to the run.
They really didn't want to go in.
They have been quiet all day but as soon as they went in the house and the door shut they were making lots of noise that sounded like they weren't happy.
We let them out shortly after and they went straight back to paddling and have quietened down again.
They are in a fox proof run and have access to the house if they want to.
Should they be going into the house at night even f thy don't want to?
