Ducks!

Sorry I'm posting on here because I can't find a duck thread!

My question is, do you think it's ok for ducks to be kept in a run? I'm looking at getting two runner ducks to go with my 4 chickens.

My ducks are in a fenced off area of the garden rather than in my chicken pen but its essentially a run. The chickens often pop in to visit them!

We had runner ducks in with our chickens for many years with no problems. There was a large sandpit filled with water for them to splash around in, but be aware that they are very messy and very smelly! Loved them though!
