Hello.
In a nutshell DH is preparing the back of the yard in order to keep chickens. It's a dead end area IYSWIM, partially under a tree and the area is raised and higher than the main yard. Slabbed. A large rectangular area.
We'd love to know if it's a good idea to remove a few of the slabs to allow access to the dirt underneath?
Is straw enough as a layer for over the concrete and how thick must it be?
