Sorry for shouting but I’m so excited. Any advice on what to do appreciated! I put 8 eggs under our broody just under 3 weeks ago to see what happened.
Candled them about half way through and found a blood ring in one and not a lot happening in 5, so I wasn’t that hopeful.
Ive been moving mum off every day for a poo, drink and dustbath as she hasn’t left the nest otherwise (she has been eating a tiny bit, when hand fed!) . Went to move her today and found a chick! So I left her to it... but can I still move her off for 5 mins? I’m going to switch the food in the house to pure chick crumb and lower water containers... but anything else I should do? Or should I leave her to it as much as possible?

Leave her, and let nature do its thing. I always leave mine after Day 18. my latest mama pooed in the nest during hatching but I waited til i was sure it was all over before I moved her to clean or disturbed anything. She'll have got the eggs into perfect position for hatching and just taking her off can disturb them. Just gently try and remove any bits of egg debris without disturbing her, and offer her food and water regularly by hand.
