We are looking to get 4 new chickens. We previously had hybrids but are now going to go for pure breeds, and have been trying to choose what to get. We ideally need ones that are comfortable being kept in a large run, although they will get plenty of chance to free range too. I would love it if they were friendly and liked to be handled too. I like the look of the Buff Sussex and White Sussex varieties. What breeds do you have or would you recommend? (Photos are a bonus!)
