Reputable places to buy Silkie chickens

My animal mad friend already has chickens and has a special birthday in September. We know she'd love a silkie.

Can you recommend where to reputably buy as we don't want to support unethical and poor breeding. We're in Dorset and close to Hampshire border

I have just come across silkies on Instagram and I'm in love with them so just marking my spot on this thread in case somebody answers... I would love some if I can convince DH 😍

I buy mine from a nice breeder but she’s in South Wales near Cardiff.

@Murinae thank you! A bit far for me though as I'm in Cambridgeshire. DH not keen but I just keep showing him cute pictures every night-I will break him! lol x

Did you ever find any? Bhamas and llamas would of been able to point you in the right direction if they didn’t have any themselves otherwise Spalding way tend to have a few.
