5000 turkeys affected, most have died and others culled.

It's bloody close to me.

I'm a bit further south. What has Peter Levy been saying about it? Fortunately, my Aldi 5-bird roast has been in the freezer for a month, but you have to feel sorry for the famer Sad

Peter levy didn't have much to say, just reported bare facts. It only broke just before he went on the air so no chance for him to get a defra person on for a paxman style interrogation.

I don't think it can be contained as such because it's in the wild bird population. It ought to be possible to keep it away from farmed birds though.
