Found one of my ladies dead in the chicken house this morning 🙁
As far as I know she was fine yesterday when I went to scatter their corn and collect the eggs. I think she was about 5/6 yrs old. She has a sister called Nugget.
My other oldie Chiquita is about 7/8 and appears to be going strong although hasn't laid an egg for some time.

RIP Roast, she leaves behind Chiquita, Nugget, Mrs White, 3 un-named bantams and a hybrid who might be her daughter (or if not she is Nugget's daughter, def one of their eggs that hatched).
