Peacocks anyone?

I'm thinking of getting some Peafowl. Does anyone have any? I'd love them to just slot in with my chickens and apparently that is possible but you need to be careful about certain diseases. Has anyone ever done this? Would love some advice or maybe its like all these things, you study on the internet, then take the plunge despite feeling like you don't know what to do.

I wish I had enough space to keep some!

They are extremely loud.

I'd suggest only if you live on a farm/country pile with no neighbours for a mile or two.

They are beautiful. And very loud.
Someone in our village has them and when we walk DDog over the fields we can still hear them a couple of miles away!

I briefly considered acquiring a pair in the hope that it would piss off my neighbour but then I grew up a bit

they are obviously very striking! what sort of garden do you have?
