that's it really- just wanted to share! we've had our two hens for about a month and they've slowly got calmer and tamer and tonight the bolder one came and sat on by my foot and, when I dared to gently stroke her, started to purr!
I feel like a cross between David Attenborough and the horse (hen?) whisperer.
