How long do you have to keep the hens in the coop to coop train? I had read 24 hours, but just found one site saying a week! A week in such a small space would be far too long?

I have 3 pullets, just arrived, in a Solway hen loft: www.solwayrecycling.co.uk/recycled-shop/pig-poultry/hen-houses/eco-hen-loft, and plan to free range around the garden.

Oh dear I would have answered you before but I'm afraid I haven't a clue! Ours went straight into a walk-in run so I didn't have to worry about that. I've got to say I wouldn't be happy about keeping them in all that time though, especially with this hot weather.
