vaccinations

I am just wondering how many people have birds that vaccinated? Currently all my girls are vaccinated by the breeder i buy from. I am after certain breeds now but am struggling to find them for sale and most people i speak to dont vaccinate their birds. Just wondering what peoples thoughts were on vaccinated chickens?

Most breeders of backyard poultry don't bother because 1) the vaccines come in large batches meaning you have to be using lots otherwise it's very expensive, and 2) most of the diseases which one vaccinated for are only really an issue in large commercial flocks.
There are some natural vaccines available in single or small group doses, but there is no evidence that they work at all!
