Our girls have been laying well for the past few weeks so the incubator is out and turned on. it is a brinsea that takes 7 eggs and in the past we have just collected the 7 freshest ones. however, is there another way of doing it? anyone else got experience? we usually hatch max 6 min 4 of the eggs into chicks btw.

I've collected 24 eggs from 2 hens over the past couple of weeks, kept them in an egg tray (but sat them horizontally) and turned them every day. I'm a novice to incubating though .... put mine in yesterday and haven't a clue how they'll turn out. Good luck with yours!
