Lost three hens last night :-(

Looks like the electric netting was low on power and with the strong wind lifting it up slightly giving mr fox a chance to get in. Remaining 3 will be locked away tonight. Guess we were lucky not to lose them all :-(

Seems like the electric netting wasn't on at all - loose earth wire, just goes to show that you can't be to careful where foxes are concerned - if it was a fox, but i can't think what else it could be.

Bummer so to hear that - when i hear the fox barking in the field behind us it always makes me think of Roald Dhal's The Fantastic Mr Fox!
