We currently have 5 ex-batts living on the allotment & shared with my parents. As we have quite a bit of space and so far seem fairly easy to look after I'm tempted to increase to 8-10 chickens. Would this be much more difficult to care for?
It would be autumn or (more likely) next year before we do it anyway so plenty of time to see if we have any problems.
If we did increase we would need a bigger coop as ours is full. Would we need one coop for 10 or could 2 smaller ones work? I'm feeling one coop is better but its only a feeling rather than knowledge!
