What are your chucks called?

We have Enid, Sylvia, Cherry,Blossom,Rose and Fifi.

My current lot are named after Jacqueline Wilson and some of her characters: as well as JW herself, we have Hetty Feather, Tracey Beaker and Biscuits.

Ours used to spell out h.e.n. henrietta, Erica and Norma but I gave up on that after many variations and named tem after plants....apart fom Fifi who just looks like a Fifi!

We currently have Tori, Eggs and BB ('cos she has a bent beak).

we used to have a Fifi which was a nn for Ophelia (from HaOmlet), Lacy and Peggy.

Mine have all been named after relations. I've gone back quite a way now. I currently have Ellen, Florence, Nell, Violet and Maggie

Ahh, I like relatives. I debated Edna after my evil auntie but changed my mind as I thought it would be cruel to the chicken :)

Sorry to hear about Suzy hazel my first and favourite was henny. Still miss her.

We rescued 3, called them Faith, Hope and Charity.

We also had Crazy Chick who would sit with us on the sofa.

I have only two - Morag and Shona - at the moment.

Mine are called Margo, Mabel and Molly! Margonis named after Margo in The Good Life! Ds named Molly and Mabel just seemed to fit!

We have Rosie, Dotty, Tallulah, Maggie, Betty, Hilda, and Mabel.

I love chicken names!

We currently have Poppy (she's my grand dame, the only one of original four still with us). Her ladies in waiting are Blossom (named after apple blossom) and Bluebell - both plants flowering when they moved in. Last week we brought home two new girls, Coucou and Lavender. In chicken heaven are Rose, Amy (both named after the Doctor's assistants) and Pecky (DS chose her name, and supremely apt it was too).

We have Arwen, Artemis (Fowl - geddit?)and Ammon (Ammon Hen - a place in Lord of the Rings). Lame jokes, and geeky too .

Molly, coco, Emily, Hattie, pineapple and Marjorie :)

Mine are currently Persephone (Percy), Indigo, and Araminta Brick, known as Minty Brick.

Snoey sadly passed away last week.

I tend to just call mine by the breed or distinguishing features, so i have Ginger, the black one, little leghorn, and just got four new hens to go with them (tonight is the first nighttime they're been in together so must go and check on them).

The new ones are two heritage skyline's so will probably be called Nissan mk3 and Nissan mk4, one white leghorn and one silverlink.

We have Minnie, Queenie, Firestar, Millie and Lily at the mo. First generation (fox dinner ) were Poppy, Holly, Daisy and Princess Leia!! Ours mainly get named by the kids.

Great names! I wanted to call them after cocktails but dh said no- apparently he didn't want daiquiri, margarita and White Russian!!!
