Ex-Bats soon to arrive

We kept chickens 6yrs ago. Totally loved them and so did my DD1. The house we had then enabled the chickens to be free range in an acre of land.

Times are quite different now......our home is small with a standard garden.

I have bought a compact chicken ark with a run underneath. I am due to rescue Ex-Bat hens soon. Partly due to my love for chicken keeping, but also because my DD1 shares my passion.

Am I being totally bonkers? Please tell me I am not. Will they be OK if I regularly move the ark about the garden?

I'm hoping its OK cos its what I plan to do next year when our building work is all finished - keep telling myself its not fair to the girls to live through the noise and mud

Ex-batts are wonderful, and your plans sound fine. am going to start a diff thread, because I am getting some more in a week or so, and have concerns about the cold weather...
