Rattle chest - CRD? Have Tylan 200 will it work?

I spoke to vet over the phone and he reckons its CRD as she is well, looks good and is laying however, the rattle from her breathing is horrid and she sometimes gasps for breathe.

I have Tylan 200 which I inject but wonder if this will cure it or is it uncurable?

ANyone have success with Tylan and CRD?

My cockerel had the very same and we gave Tylan soluble in the water for the whole flock (16). Also put apple cider vinegar in the drinking water and if you have any Herban, that's good too.

My cockerel lost his voice for 3 weeks but a week after first giving the Tylan, he was back on form.

You can only try your best. chickens are fragile things really so fingers crossed that it works for you. sometimes it is just the manifestation of another health problem so dont blame yourself or the drugs if they dont work this time. good luck
