New girls coming on Tuesday!

I am daftly excited about our new chooks arriving, they have already been named by the DDs...

A cream legbar called Dawn and a Polish hen called Buffy, who are going to be introduced to our surviving two hybrids.

I have my introduction schedule sorted out, can't wait to have more chickens to cuddle and needed to express my enthusiasm where I won't get funny looks!

Yesterday my ds and i picked up 4 baby Bantams.....they are so cute!

We already have 2 Hybrid that we've had for 2 1/2 years _ a light sussex called Edith and a Maran called Phyllis

We are hoping to slowly introduce them all as my 2 older girls have free run of our back garden and would love to have them all roaming together.

Ours are 8 weeks old, they 'peep'! The polish hen is really placid and good for cuddling, the legbar runs away!

We have two hybrids too, a black rock called Hickety Pickety and a Sussex Star called Gertie. They seem gigantic next to the new girls.
