chicken bitten by rat.

My lovely chicken was bitten by a rat on Thursday. Didn't see it happen but a rat had been getting into her run and stealing her food. I gave her some cheese as a treat and came back ten minutes later and she was dripping blood and her eye was closed. It is a small v-shaped puncture wound and seems to clearly be a rat bite. We rushed her to the vet right away, she had antibiotics and a painkiller. She went back yesterday as the vet wanted to give her another antibiotic shot. Her eye was still mostly closed but the vet stained it and had a good look and felt it wasn't damaged, just swollen. She was quite chipper yesterday, considering.
Today though she looks much more poorly. Wings droopy, fluffed up, rather too still as she is a very bustly and bouncy bantam. Back to vet who gave another shot and more painkillers, and a probiotic for her water. Cut is small and healing well, so why is she looking worse? She is eating and drinking but not very chipper otherwise. She is alone at the moment (we are getting another shortly) and this didn't seem to be bothering her at all but maybe it is now she is injured? Anything we can do to help her get better? Vet has done all she can.

Cut is a good cm away from the eye btw.

She looks brighter today which is reassuring, but the eyeball itself doesn't look right. It looks red, and its hard to tell if you can see the pupil . I suppose she will have to go back to the vet tomorrow.
