Lonely chick

We incubated 4 eggs. When we candled them, 1 had not fertilised, 2 had lively chicks and the other had something in but we weren't sure if it was still alive.

On Tuesday 2 hatched but only 1 survived. So we have one chick in our brooder. Is this ok? I feel so sorry for it. It's fit and well but I feel bad keeping it on it's own for the next few week and it not having the stimulation it would get from another chick/s.

We have no broody hens to take it on. We've got 3 week old chicks outside with a hen and that's it.

Will the chick be alright on it's own?

It will be fine on it's own, when it's bigger you can introduce it to the others. Don't do that until it can keep up with them and won't get squashed.
