Our beautiful cochin is ill - she has a bacterial infection which the vet has given us a liquid antibiotic for.
It all around her beak so she probably can't eat or drink at the moment - I am using a syringe to drip feed some water into her, and she is basically lying in the sun feeling, clearly, pretty rotten.
Vet said she probably felt like she had a horrid head cold, but she wasn't suffering.
Any ideas on a liquid food I could give her, or experience - am I better just to leave her be, or faff around her ?
