Do chicks get bored

Sorry, another stupid question, but do they? Should they have anything in their box to stimulate them?

To be honest, it's not normal to. You can take them out and hold them, and if you really want to then you might like to add something small to climb on (a brick, but small enough to climb up onto?). As they get older, you can start adding in things like perches, hanging CDs and hanging bunches of herbs / other edible leaves. But really, they are quite simple creatures anyway, who will largely amuse themselves.

they are lovely but they arent that bright and dont need anything really. we find ours respond to us talking to them, when the radio goes on etc because they are in the kitchen. ours have a little perch and they fight over bits of torn newspaper.
