I posted this thread in chat yesterday. 15 000 free range chickens used for laying eggs need rehoming in a months time, pick up near worthing.
Here's the info from the site;
Hi everyone.... another animal charity we work with have been asked to re-home 15,000 free range chickens who were used by a 'free range eggs' company (so they wont be in a poor condition like ex-batts). However, whatever they cant rehome. the company will (well lets just say they will go to chicken heaven). Obviously 15000 is a HUGE amount to they have a hugs task on thier hands. The birds will cost £1 each and will have to be collected from the Worthing area, (West Sussex). If you can help please contact WADERS on 0300 30 30 999

Ooo, I'd love to help. But worthing may be just a bit too far.

Can I just mention in case anyone wants to email them instead of phoning, it's WADARS (Worthing and District Animal Rescue Service) in case you are googling. Smile
