Cornwall/Devon chicken keepers

I know this is a wild shot, but does anyone want a cockerel? We have 5 x 16 week old boys, all sired(?) by a purebred Crested Legbar but with varying mothers. They will carry the blue egg gene afaik, but may breed green egg layers rather than blue. They are all different colours, all very pretty!

If no-one wants them, they will be in the pot soon

try a livestock auction first. have a look in your local paper. they usually only sell for a pound or two each but worth a go. only don't buy a bidding card yourself or like as not you will come home with more chickens than you went with!
