I"m cooking up some brown rice the kids don"t like and mixing it with sweetcorn for my little friends today.What do others find their chickens enjoy the best and what won"t they touch?

Mine love melon and grapes.

Left-over jelly didn't go down too well ...

Not too many treat though, and on the rules of what makes us fat makes them fat.

Yes, they couldn't really understand it. Nothing else they won't eat, though.

cat food, rice, pasta, cheese, couscous and sweetcorn. They also eat leftover, home made curry

waffles, chips, my crocus's, all are rare treats. they eat the windfall apples and blackberrys but dont like the sloes (who does) or the damsons.

Pasta, Porridge, any kind of cooked veg.
Fresh corn on the cobs hanging down from a string.
Iceberg Lettuce -apparently mega delish if you're a chuck - bought a cheap string bag and put a whole lettuce in for them, hang it up, keeps em good for hours
Squishy tomatoes
Courgette
Fruit cake - in fact most cake
Dandelion leaves
Mealworms are favourites too

but they won't eat strawberries!?

and cat food which they shared with 3 cats at the same time- but that was in the days when they could roam free, before the fox came calling. he took my Black Rock KitKat who adored sharing said choccy biscuit treat with me ...I hate foxes.....
