Can I introduce a Silkie bantam to our two hybrids?

Or will they bully her mercilessly?

We have a Black Rock and a Bluebell. The coop is small, but I reckon we can squeeze a little one in there. They have a run and a few hours free range daily.

No.

I would never introduce one chicken to 2. You need to put at least 2 if not 3 in at the same time. Especially not a smaller chicken and especially not into a small coop.

My chooks have a 15x12ft run and I had 6 chickens, introduced another 2 and one of those was pecked so badly she had a hole in her head. Luckily I had a spare hen house/run so put the worst bully in there on her own for a bit.

Thanks. I've been googling and it would appear it's a bad idea, as you suggest.

I'm doing some lateral thinking now, wondering about a couple of Silkies in the front garden instead Smile
